Connecting your domain

Point your own domain at your CoreTech site. SSL is automatic.

Updated September 30, 2026

You can use any domain you own, bought from any registrar (Namecheap, GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Google Domains, and so on).

  1. 1In your dashboard, open Domains and click Connect a custom domain.
  2. 2Type your domain (for example techpress.co) and choose Primary. Click Continue.
  3. 3CoreTech shows the DNS records to add. Keep this page open.
  4. 4In a new tab, sign in to where you bought your domain and open its DNS settings.
  5. 5Add each record exactly as shown: the type (TXT, A or CNAME), the host/name, and the value. Save.
  6. 6Back in CoreTech, click Verify Domain.

The TXT record at _coretech proves you own the domain. The A or CNAME record sends visitors to your CoreTech site. Once both are found, CoreTech issues a free SSL certificate automatically, usually within a few minutes.

DNS changes can take from a few minutes up to a few hours to show up. If verification doesn't work straight away, wait a little and try again. See Why won't my domain verify?
