Using Cloudflare with CoreTech
Settings to use if your domain's DNS is at Cloudflare.
Updated September 30, 2026
CoreTech works fine with domains whose DNS is managed at Cloudflare. Two settings matter.
- 1When you add the records CoreTech gives you, set the Proxy status to DNS only (grey cloud). This lets CoreTech see your records and issue your SSL certificate.
- 2After the Domains page shows your domain as Connected with SSL, you may switch the proxy on (orange cloud) if you want Cloudflare's features.
- 3If you do turn the proxy on, go to SSL/TLS → Overview in Cloudflare and choose Full (strict). Other modes can cause redirect loops or security warnings.
The _coretech TXT record can't be proxied, so it needs no change.
